Does Carbones Pizzeria provide assistance in selecting a location for the Restaurant?

Carbones_Pizzeria Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

We do not provide any particular assistance in selecting a location for your Restaurant. That is your responsibility. You must have the location approved by us before the Franchise Agreement will be signed. We may consult with you on the proposed location if you have questions, but we do not select the site, nor do we guarantee that any particular site will produce any particular results. In determining whether to approve a site we review whether the site is located in a busy commercial area within a city or community. We also review availability of ingress and egress to the site, available places for signage, parking and size of the actual site. You must secure the site we have approved for your Restaurant within 120 days of signing the Franchise Agreement

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Carbones Pizzeria Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are primarily responsible for selecting the location of their Restaurant. While Carbones Pizzeria does not offer specific assistance in site selection, they do require approval of the chosen location before a Franchise Agreement is signed. Carbones Pizzeria may consult with the franchisee on the proposed location if there are questions, but the final selection remains the franchisee's responsibility. Carbones Pizzeria does not guarantee any particular results from an approved site.

When determining whether to approve a site, Carbones Pizzeria reviews several factors. These include whether the site is in a busy commercial area within a city or community, the availability of access points, signage options, parking facilities, and the overall size of the site. Once a site is approved, the franchisee must secure it within 120 days of signing the Franchise Agreement.

The franchisee is responsible for conforming the premises to local ordinances and building codes, as well as obtaining all required permits. Although Carbones Pizzeria provides a prototypical design package, the franchisee is responsible for all construction, remodeling, and decoration of the Restaurant. This means that prospective franchisees need to be prepared to manage the site selection process independently, taking into account Carbones Pizzeria's approval criteria and all local regulatory requirements.
