What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Carbones Pizzeria Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must purchase a point-of-sale (POS) system. This system is essential for tracking sales and managing the financial aspects of the business. The initial cost to acquire this required POS system ranges from $5,000 to $10,000.

In addition to the initial purchase price, Carbones Pizzeria franchisees must also budget for ongoing expenses. The FDD states that there is a monthly fee for the POS system, which falls between $300 and $500. These fees likely cover software licenses, data storage, and basic support.

It is important to note that neither Carbones Pizzeria nor any affiliated third party is obligated to provide ongoing maintenance, repairs, upgrades, or updates to the POS system. Carbones Pizzeria retains the right to mandate upgrades, updates, or the acquisition of new technology during the term of the Franchise Agreement, potentially leading to further costs for the franchisee. Carbones Pizzeria will also have independent access to the information in the point-of-sale system, with no limits on their right to access this information.
