ITEM 5. INITIAL FEES

Our initial franchise fee is $25,000 (unless you are already an existing Carbone's Pizza franchisee purchasing an additional franchise, in which case we will waive this fee). You must pay the entire initial franchise fee at the time you sign the Franchise Agreement. It is nonrefundable.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Carbones Pizzeria Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee of $25,000 is due when you sign the Franchise Agreement. The FDD states that this fee is nonrefundable.

Item 11 of the Carbones Pizzeria FDD also states that you have one year from the date you sign your Franchise Agreement to open your Restaurant to the general public. If you fail to open your Restaurant by this date, Carbones Pizzeria can terminate your Franchise Agreement and retain all amounts you have paid to them.

Therefore, if you fail to pay the initial franchise fee of $25,000 at the time of signing the Franchise Agreement, Carbones Pizzeria will likely not proceed with the agreement, and you will not be granted the rights to open a franchise. Because the initial fee is nonrefundable, any delays or failure to pay would mean forfeiting the $25,000.
