What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Carbones Pizzeria Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is obligated to operate the Restaurant on a full-time basis. If the franchisee themselves cannot be involved in the restaurant's operation full-time, they must appoint an operations manager who will be involved on a full-time basis.
This requirement ensures that the Carbones Pizzeria restaurant is actively and consistently managed, which can impact the quality of service, adherence to brand standards, and overall profitability. By mandating full-time involvement, Carbones Pizzeria aims to maintain a consistent level of operational oversight at each franchise location.
For a prospective franchisee, this means they must either commit to managing the restaurant themselves full-time or hire a qualified operations manager to do so. This decision will influence the franchisee's time commitment and staffing costs. Failing to meet this operational requirement could potentially lead to a breach of the franchise agreement.
