What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Carbones Pizzeria Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must operate the Restaurant from the location approved by Carbones Pizzeria. The franchisee is required to secure this approved location within 120 days of signing the Franchise Agreement. The franchisee must operate the Restaurant on a full-time basis. If the franchisee does not have an owner involved in the operation of the Restaurant on a full-time basis, the franchisee must appoint an operations manager who will be involved in the Restaurant's operation on a full-time basis.
The franchisee is obligated to open the Restaurant to the general public within one year from the date of the Franchise Agreement. However, the franchisee cannot begin operations until they have met all the conditions outlined in the Franchise Agreement that must be satisfied before opening. Failure to open the Restaurant on time may result in Carbones Pizzeria terminating the agreement and retaining all amounts the franchisee has paid to Carbones Pizzeria or its affiliates.
Furthermore, the franchisee must operate the Restaurant in accordance with the Carbone System, ensuring they maintain sufficient product supplies and employ enough staff to operate the Restaurant at its maximum capacity and with maximum efficiency. This ensures that the Carbones Pizzeria standards are upheld and that customers receive a consistent experience across all franchise locations.
