What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Carbones Pizzeria Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to ensure that all employees wear uniforms that conform to the specifications designated by Carbones Pizzeria. This means that the franchisee does not have complete autonomy over the uniforms worn by their employees and must adhere to the standards set by the franchisor.
In addition to wearing the specified uniforms, employees must maintain a neat and clean appearance and provide competent, sober, and courteous service to customers. This requirement emphasizes the importance of upholding the brand's image and customer service standards. The franchisee is responsible for ensuring that their staff meets these expectations at all times while on duty.
Furthermore, the franchisee must ensure that only approved containers, cartons, sacks, napkins, flavorings, and garnishments are used for dispensing and selling products, and that these items comply with Carbones Pizzeria's specifications. This extends the brand's standardization beyond just employee appearance to include all aspects of product presentation and service. This standardization helps maintain brand consistency across all franchise locations, which is a common practice in the franchise industry.
