What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Carbones Pizzeria Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is generally prohibited from delivering into another franchisee's designated territory. This restriction is in place to protect each franchisee's exclusive territory and prevent competition between franchise locations. However, a Carbones Pizzeria franchisee may deliver outside of their territory into areas that are not part of another franchisee's territory.

This exception is conditional. If Carbones Pizzeria grants a new franchise that includes an area where an existing franchisee is delivering, the existing franchisee must immediately stop delivery activities in that newly franchised area. This ensures that as the franchise network grows, each new franchisee has a protected territory without interference from existing locations.

This policy has important implications for prospective franchisees. It highlights the importance of understanding the boundaries of the franchise territory and the potential for those boundaries to change as Carbones Pizzeria expands. Franchisees need to be aware that their delivery area could be reduced in the future, which could impact their revenue projections. It is important to consider these factors when evaluating the franchise opportunity and planning for the future growth of the business.
