What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Carbones Pizzeria Franchise Disclosure Document, instructions on making pizza and related items are provided in Section 10 of the Franchise Agreement. Prior to opening a Carbones Pizzeria restaurant, the franchisor will provide the franchisee with these instructions.
In addition to the Franchise Agreement, the Carbones Pizzeria Operations Manual also contains mandatory and suggested specifications, standards, and procedures. The Operations Manual consists of one or more manuals, technical bulletins, or other written materials available electronically and may be modified periodically by Carbones Pizzeria. The Operations Manual currently contains approximately 474 pages, and a copy of the Table of Contents is attached to the Disclosure Document as Exhibit C.
Furthermore, the initial training program for Carbones Pizzeria includes product specification training and product cooking, which involves 4 hours of classroom training and 20 hours of on-the-job training. This training utilizes the Operations Manual and is required to be completed to the franchisor's satisfaction before the restaurant's opening date.
