What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Carbones Pizzeria's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the prototypical design package is referenced in Section 8 of the Franchise Agreement. Item 11 of the FDD states that before a new Carbones Pizzeria restaurant opens, the franchisor will provide the franchisee with their prototypical design package. If the franchisee wants to use a design package different from the one provided, the franchisor must approve or disapprove it, also per Section 8 of the Franchise Agreement.
While Carbones Pizzeria provides a prototypical design package, the franchisee is responsible for all construction, remodeling, and decorating to conform the premises to local ordinances and building codes. The franchisee is also responsible for obtaining all required permits.
