All notices permitted or required to be delivered pursuant to this Agreement shall be deemed so delivered:
- a. when delivered by hand;
- b. three (3) days after placed in the United States mail by registered or certified mail, return receipt requested, postage prepaid, or one (1) business day after placed in the hands of an overnight courier, for next day delivery, and in either case addressed to the party to be notified at its most current principal business address of which the notifying party has been notified (which, in the case of Franchisee, includes the address of the Franchised Business); or
- c. one (1) business day after being sent via email to the party to be notified as follows: if to Franchisor, to tommy@carbones.com and if to Franchisee, the last Franchisee provided email address to Franchisor.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Carbones Pizzeria Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee needs to send a notice to the franchisor via email, the email should be sent to tommy@carbones.com. Conversely, if Carbones Pizzeria needs to send a notice to the franchisee, it will use the last email address the franchisee provided to them.
It is important to note that this is just one method of delivering notice. The FDD states that notices can also be delivered by hand, or via registered or certified mail, return receipt requested, postage prepaid. Notices can also be sent via overnight courier, for next day delivery.
It is critical that franchisees keep their contact information up to date with Carbones Pizzeria to ensure they receive all important notices in a timely manner. Similarly, Carbones Pizzeria must ensure they use the correct channels and addresses when communicating with franchisees to avoid any disputes over proper notification.
