What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Carbones Pizzeria Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor determines the required point-of-sale (POS) system. The franchisee is obligated to acquire and use the POS system that Carbones Pizzeria requires from time to time. All sales of food, beverages, and other items must be recorded through this POS system.
Carbones Pizzeria retains the right to inspect, examine, and audit the sales records produced by the POS system at all reasonable times. The franchisee must ensure that these sales records are maintained and accessible for inspection by Carbones Pizzeria or its authorized representatives.
This requirement ensures that Carbones Pizzeria has access to accurate sales data for royalty calculations, marketing analysis, and overall system performance monitoring. It also allows Carbones Pizzeria to maintain consistency and standardization across all franchise locations, which is a common practice in franchising to ensure brand integrity and operational efficiency.
