What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Carbones Pizzeria Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Authorization' refers to the franchisee's permission for the franchisor to make automatic payments from the franchisee's bank account. This authorization enables Carbones Pizzeria to withdraw funds and initiate debit entries to the franchisee's designated bank account for payments due under the Franchise Agreement.

This agreement remains in effect until all obligations under the Franchise Agreement are fully satisfied or expressly released in writing by Carbones Pizzeria. The franchisee agrees that this authorization applies to any bank accounts opened during the term and any renewal terms of the agreement. If a franchisee closes a bank account, they must notify Carbones Pizzeria in writing, open a new account, and provide all necessary documentation for the franchisor to continue making withdrawals.

This authorization serves as the only written permission needed from the franchisee for Carbones Pizzeria to initiate debit entries or ACH debit originations to the franchisee's bank accounts. This simplifies the payment process for both parties, ensuring timely payments to the franchisor while reducing the administrative burden on the franchisee. However, it's crucial for the franchisee to maintain accurate bank account information and promptly communicate any changes to avoid potential issues with payments.
