Carbones_Pizzeria Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
When you sign a Franchise Agreement, you will receive the right to operate one Carbone's Pizza restaurant at the specific location we have approved. If you would like to relocate this location you must obtain our prior approval to do so. We will use our then-current location approval criteria to determine whether to approve the relocation.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Carbones Pizzeria's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are permitted to relocate their restaurant location, but only with prior approval from Carbones Pizzeria. The franchisor will assess the proposed new location based on their current location approval criteria. This means that a franchisee cannot simply move their restaurant without first getting the green light from Carbones Pizzeria, ensuring that the new site meets the brand's standards and market considerations.
This requirement for prior approval is a standard practice in franchising, allowing Carbones Pizzeria to maintain brand consistency and ensure that new locations are viable. The location approval criteria likely consider factors such as market demographics, competition, visibility, and accessibility. By retaining control over location decisions, Carbones Pizzeria aims to protect both its brand and the investments of its franchisees.
For a prospective Carbones Pizzeria franchisee, this means that while relocation is possible, it is not guaranteed. Before signing a franchise agreement, it would be prudent to understand the specific location approval criteria used by Carbones Pizzeria. Additionally, franchisees should inquire about the process for requesting a relocation and the factors that could lead to approval or denial. This due diligence can help a franchisee avoid potential conflicts or disappointments down the road.
