What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Carbones Pizzeria Franchise Disclosure Document, the Advertising Fee is due monthly. Franchisees must pay the Advertising Fee to Carbones Pizzeria at the same time they make their Royalty payment. The Advertising Fee is one percent (1%) of monthly Gross Sales. However, the Advertising Fee is not due on Gross Sales exceeding $2,000,000 in any calendar year.

It is important to note that if a payment is due on a non-business day, the due date is shifted to the immediately following business day. Additionally, Carbones Pizzeria may collect all amounts due via electronic funds transfer/debit, requiring franchisees to execute an Electronic Funds Transfer/Debit Authorization.

If a Carbones Pizzeria franchisee fails to pay the Advertising Fees as required, the unpaid fees will bear interest at a rate of one and a half percent (1.5%) per month. However, the interest rate will not exceed the maximum legal rate under applicable law. Carbones Pizzeria also reserves the right to independently access the Restaurant's accounting and financial systems to determine Gross Sales and fees due.
