According to Caption By Hyatt's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the New Hotel Orientation takes place at the franchisee's hotel. This training program includes 4 hours of classroom training and no on-the-job training.
This initial training is part of a broader program that includes the Owner Briefing, Franchise Manager University, owner/operator orientation program, General Manager University, operations training program, the sales/catering/revenue training program, the training programs for other Hotel personnel, and the Pre-Opening Brand Training.
Caption By Hyatt also provides additional, supplemental, and optional training programs during the franchise term. These programs are designed to ensure that hotel staff remains up-to-date on brand standards and operational procedures.
