- (b) General Manager Orientation. Within the time period that Hyatt reasonably specifies before the Hotel's anticipated Opening Date, the Hotel's proposed general manager must attend an orientation program virtually, at Hyatt's headquarters in Chicago, Illinois, or at another location Hyatt designates.

This orientation is required for the hotel's proposed general manager before the hotel's anticipated opening date.
If the franchisee or the management company replaces the general manager during the term of the agreement, the replacement general manager must attend the orientation program within thirty days of assuming the position, or within a longer period if designated by Hyatt.
The franchisee is responsible for paying Hyatt's current fee for the orientation program, as well as any additional programs that the hotel's personnel attend. Hyatt determines the dates, locations, and duration of the training.
