VetFran Discount. We are a member of the International Franchise Association ("IFA"), and support and participate in IFA's VetFran Program. If you are an honorably discharged veteran who meets our qualifications for new CANOPY® franchisees, we will discount the Initial Franchise Fee by 15%. The VetFran discount may be used only once for one Territory. The VetFran discount may applied toward the purchase of only one of the franchise concepts offered by us and our Affiliates.
Multi-Territory Discount. If you license multiple contiguous Territories from us at the same time (for which you are signing separate Franchise Agreements for each Territory), the Initial Franchise Fee that you must pay under the second and each additional Franchise Agreement will be as follows:

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Canopy Lawn Care's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company participates in the International Franchise Association's (IFA) VetFran Program. Honorably discharged veterans who meet Canopy Lawn Care's qualifications for new franchisees are eligible for a discount on the Initial Franchise Fee. This discount amounts to 15% off the standard initial franchise fee.
The standard Initial Franchise Fee for a Canopy Lawn Care franchise is $49,500, provided the territory is less than 45,000 single-family dwelling units. For eligible veterans, the 15% VetFran discount reduces this fee. The VetFran discount can only be applied once for a single territory and toward the purchase of only one of the franchise concepts offered by Canopy Lawn Care and its affiliates.
It's important to note that the VetFran discount is the only discount that can be combined with any other discounts offered by Canopy Lawn Care. However, if a franchisee who received the VetFran discount fails to maintain at least a 75% interest in the franchisee entity or causes any transfer during the first 3 years of the Franchise Agreement, they must immediately repay the discounted amount of the Initial Franchise Fee to Canopy Lawn Care.
