Services Fee is $350 per month, but Franchisor may increase it at any
time upon notice to Franchisee to be up to $500 per month. The Bookkeeping Services Fee covers up to 5 hours of bookkeeping assistance per month; however, if Franchisee requires more than 5 hours of bookkeeping assistance per month, then Franchisor will charge Franchisee $55 per hour for additional assistance, which Franchisor may increase at any time upon notice to Franchisee to be up to $100 per hour of additional assistance. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Canopy Lawn Care's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company offers bookkeeping services to franchisees. The Bookkeeping Services Fee covers up to 5 hours of bookkeeping assistance per month. If a franchisee needs more than 5 hours of assistance, Canopy Lawn Care will charge $55 per hour for the additional time.
Importantly, Canopy Lawn Care retains the right to increase this hourly rate for additional bookkeeping assistance. The FDD states that the franchisor may increase the rate at any time, but it cannot exceed $100 per hour. Canopy Lawn Care must provide notice to the franchisee before increasing the rate.
However, the franchisee has an option to request to use their own bookkeeping service if they currently operate a similarly situated franchised business that already uses one. The approval to use the franchisee's current bookkeeping service is at Canopy Lawn Care's sole discretion.
