What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Canopy Lawn Care's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Canopy Lawn Care and its affiliates have the right to collect rebates and other consideration from third-party designated and approved suppliers resulting from a franchisee's purchases of required items. Canopy Lawn Care is entitled to keep these rebates and considerations for their own use and account.

Additionally, Canopy Lawn Care and its affiliates may also generate revenue or other consideration from a franchisee's purchases of required items directly from Canopy Lawn Care or its affiliates. This means that franchisees may be required to purchase certain items from approved suppliers or directly from the franchisor, and Canopy Lawn Care benefits financially from these purchases through rebates, considerations, or direct revenue.

This arrangement is common in franchising, where franchisors often negotiate deals with suppliers to benefit from the collective purchasing power of their franchisees. However, it's important for prospective Canopy Lawn Care franchisees to understand that they may not have the freedom to choose their own suppliers for required items and that Canopy Lawn Care benefits financially from these purchasing arrangements.
