What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Canopy Lawn Care's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Delivery Date is the date when a vehicle is delivered to the franchisee, marking the start of the lease term for that specific vehicle. The term of the lease agreement for each vehicle begins on this Delivery Date and continues for the duration of the Lease Term, as outlined in the applicable Schedule.

This means that the franchisee's financial obligations, such as monthly rental payments, are tied to the Delivery Date. If a vehicle is delivered on a day other than the first day of the month, the monthly rental payments will commence on the first day of the following month. Additionally, Canopy Lawn Care franchisees are responsible for paying a pro-rated rental charge for the period between the Delivery Date and the first monthly rental payment date.

For a prospective Canopy Lawn Care franchisee, understanding the Delivery Date is crucial for managing cash flow and budgeting. Franchisees should ensure they are aware of the exact Delivery Date for each vehicle to accurately calculate their initial and ongoing lease payments. Furthermore, the franchisee has 10 days after the delivery date to object to the terms in the schedule.
