What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Canopy Lawn Care maintains the right to approve all required items used in connection with a franchisee's business. The FDD states that the names and addresses of Canopy Lawn Care’s designated and approved suppliers are listed in the Manual.
Canopy Lawn Care and its affiliates have the right to collect rebates and other considerations from third-party designated and approved suppliers as a result of a franchisee's purchases of required items. Canopy Lawn Care and its affiliates are entitled to keep these rebates and considerations for their own use. Additionally, Canopy Lawn Care and its affiliates may also derive revenue or other consideration from a franchisee's purchases of required items directly from them.
If Canopy Lawn Care is billed by a supplier for a network-wide charge for a product or service, they will divide the invoice among Canopy Lawn Care franchisees. The franchisee will then be charged for their share of any charges billed to Canopy Lawn Care on behalf of the franchisee’s lawn care business. Prospective franchisees should ask Canopy Lawn Care for more information about how suppliers are evaluated and chosen.
