What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Canopy Lawn Care's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Brand Fund Contribution is currently 1% of Gross Revenues, with a maximum of 2% of Gross Revenues. This fee is payable monthly via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) on or before the 5th of each month and is paid to Canopy Lawn Care.
Any amounts the franchisee is required to contribute to the Brand Fund will be counted toward their required local marketing expenditures. This means that the money allocated to the Brand Fund can offset the amount the franchisee needs to spend on local marketing efforts.
Canopy Lawn Care also reserves the right to require franchisees to pay fees via electronic funds transfer, which requires authorization for direct debits from the franchisee's business bank operating account. If the franchisee does not timely pay the monthly Royalty Fees and Brand Fund Contribution, Canopy Lawn Care is authorized to debit the franchisee's account for these amounts.
