What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Canine Dimensions' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee will typically open their business within 30 to 60 days after signing the Franchise Agreement. This timeframe is influenced by several factors, including completing the initial training program, establishing a home-based office, obtaining required business licenses and permits, and securing necessary insurance. The initial training program is approximately two to four weeks at Canine Dimensions' corporate offices, and the franchisee must complete it to Canine Dimensions' satisfaction before commencing operations.
Before opening, Canine Dimensions will designate the franchisee's protected territory, provide initial training, loan a copy of the manual, and advise on required equipment and inventory. The franchisee is required to order and pay for an initial inventory of authorized products at the then-current prices before commencing operations.
The franchisee will operate the Canine Dimensions business from their home, which must be approved by Canine Dimensions and is typically designated as the "Approved Location" on the Franchise Agreement at the time of signing. The ability to meet these requirements within the 30 to 60 day window after signing the franchise agreement will determine how quickly a franchisee can begin operations.
