What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Canine Dimensions' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees and their owners must comply with Anti-Terrorism Laws. These laws are defined as Executive Order 13224 issued by the President of the United States, the USA PATRIOT Act, and all other present and future federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, regulations, policies, lists, and other requirements of any governmental authority addressing or relating to terrorist acts and acts of war.

Specifically, franchisees must certify, represent, and warrant that none of their property or interests is subject to being blocked under these Anti-Terrorism Laws and that they are not otherwise in violation of them. Any violation of these laws or the blocking of a franchisee's assets under these laws constitutes grounds for immediate termination of the Franchise Agreement with Canine Dimensions.

In practical terms, this means a prospective Canine Dimensions franchisee must ensure their business operations and personal assets are fully compliant with all applicable anti-terrorism regulations. They must conduct thorough due diligence to confirm they are not engaging in any activity that could be construed as supporting terrorism or violating these laws. Failure to do so not only carries legal risks but also the risk of losing their franchise.
