Does Canine Dimensions reserve the right to change the training program?

Canine_Dimensions Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

We reserve the right to vary our training program based on the prior experience of the trainee(s). After completion of the training session, training and assistance will limited to telephone assistance, email assistance and/or on-site assistance as we determine in our reasonable business judgment. If you request additional training on-site, or if we determine that you would benefit from additional on-site training, you must pay our then-current per diem rate per trainer, and reimburse our trainer's costs for providing the onsite training, including travel, lodging and meals. Currently, our per-diem daily trainer rate is $350 per trainer.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Canine Dimensions' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Canine Dimensions retains the right to modify its training program. The FDD specifies that Canine Dimensions can adjust the training based on the trainee's previous experience. This flexibility allows Canine Dimensions to tailor the training to the individual franchisee's needs and skill level.

After the initial training, ongoing support is limited to telephone, email, or on-site assistance, as determined by Canine Dimensions. If a franchisee requests additional on-site training, or if Canine Dimensions deems it necessary, the franchisee must cover the trainer's per diem rate and associated costs, such as travel, lodging, and meals. The current per diem rate is $350 per trainer per day.

This policy gives Canine Dimensions discretion over the training program's content and delivery. While this flexibility can be beneficial, franchisees should be aware of the potential costs associated with additional on-site training if deemed necessary by Canine Dimensions. Franchisees should inquire about the criteria used to determine the need for additional training and the potential frequency and duration of such training to better understand the potential financial implications.
