What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Canine Dimensions' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must obtain approval from Canine Dimensions for all advertising and promotional materials before using them. This includes submitting samples of all advertising and promotional plans and materials that the franchisee wants to use, unless these materials have been prepared or approved by Canine Dimensions within the previous 12 months. Franchisees do not need to submit prices for approval.

If Canine Dimensions does not provide written disapproval within 20 days of receiving the samples or materials, approval is considered granted. Franchisees must display Canine Dimensions' marks in the manner prescribed by Canine Dimensions on all signs and other advertising and promotional materials. All materials submitted for review become the property of Canine Dimensions, which Canine Dimensions may use or disseminate at its discretion.

This requirement extends to all uses of the internet in connection with the franchised business, including websites, web pages, blogs, social networking services, banner advertising, pay-per-click, social media, podcasts, video sharing services, search engine marketing, and search engine optimization programs or services. Franchisees are restricted from engaging in promotional activities or selling products or services through electronic media, catalogs, email, or other mail-order devices, or by telecopy or other telephonic or electronic communications, unless done through Canine Dimensions' Internet Advertising Fund.
