What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Canine Dimensions' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Franchise Agreement outlines the obligations for pre-opening purchases. Specifically, Section 4.3 of the Franchise Agreement details the franchisee's requirement to order and pay for an initial inventory of authorized products from Canine Dimensions at their then-current prices before commencing operations. Upon receipt of payment, Canine Dimensions will then send the initial inventory.
Regarding leases, the FDD indicates that franchisees will typically operate their Canine Dimensions franchise from their home, which will be designated as the "Approved Location." This location is typically entered on Schedule A of the Franchise Agreement at the time of signing. Therefore, a franchisee would not typically enter into a commercial lease agreement with Canine Dimensions.
In summary, the Franchise Agreement covers the pre-opening purchase obligations for the initial inventory. Since Canine Dimensions franchises are home-based, there are no lease obligations outlined in the Franchise Agreement.
