What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Canine Dimensions' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Franchisee Disclosure Acknowledgment Statement serves to confirm that the franchisee understands the business decision they are making, including its associated risks. Canine Dimensions uses this statement to verify that prospective franchisees are not relying on any unauthorized oral statements, representations, promises, or assurances made during negotiations that were not included in the Disclosure Document. This protects Canine Dimensions from potential legal issues arising from misunderstandings or misrepresentations made outside of the official FDD.

Specifically, the questionnaire aims to determine if any unauthorized statements or promises were made by Canine Dimensions employees, authorized representatives, or brokers acting on their behalf. The document emphasizes that the purchase of a franchise involves inherent business risks and that the success or failure of the franchise depends on various factors, including the franchisee's skills, competition, economic conditions, and location. By signing the acknowledgment, the franchisee confirms their awareness of these risks and their willingness to undertake them.

Furthermore, the franchisee agrees that their decision to invest in the Canine Dimensions franchise is not based on any oral representations, assurances, warranties, guarantees, or promises made by Canine Dimensions or its agents regarding the likelihood of success. The franchisee acknowledges that they have not received any information concerning actual, projected, or forecasted franchise sales, profits, or earnings, except as contained in the Disclosure Document. If the franchisee believes they have received any conflicting information, they are required to describe it in the provided space or state "None."

In addition to the Franchisee Disclosure Acknowledgment Statement, the franchisee is asked a series of questions to confirm they have reviewed the Disclosure Document and understand its contents. These questions cover whether the franchisee received and reviewed the Disclosure Document, signed a receipt for it, understands all the information within, and discussed the franchise with a professional advisor. The franchisee also confirms their understanding that the success of the business depends on their skills and abilities, as well as external factors. They are also asked to disclose if anyone speaking on behalf of Canine Dimensions made statements about potential revenues, profits, or costs that contradict the Disclosure Document.
