What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Canine Dimensions's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a list of approved suppliers will be provided to franchisees following the execution of the Franchise Agreement. Franchisees are required to purchase all required inventory, goods, equipment, supplies, forms, products, services, and advertising materials from Canine Dimensions or its approved or designated suppliers and distributors. Franchisees are only permitted to carry specific inventory items approved by Canine Dimensions.

If a franchisee wishes to use a supplier not already approved, they must notify Canine Dimensions and obtain written approval. Canine Dimensions will provide specifications and standards for approval and will respond in writing, typically via email, within 60 days after having the opportunity to test the item or supplier. Canine Dimensions has no obligation to approve a new supplier, product, or service but will not unreasonably withhold approval if the item, product, or service is not one that franchisees are required to purchase from existing suppliers. The franchisee will be required to pay for the costs of testing the proposed supplier.

Canine Dimensions does not make its criteria for selecting approved suppliers available to franchisees, nor does it make its specifications known to suppliers. Supplier approval might depend on factors such as product quality, delivery frequency and reliability, service standards, financial capability, customer relations, concentration of purchases with limited suppliers to obtain better prices and service, and/or a supplier's willingness to pay Canine Dimensions or its affiliates for the right to do business with the Canine Dimensions system. This arrangement is common in franchising, allowing franchisors to maintain quality control and potentially generate revenue through supplier relationships.
