We have developed a distinctive system which includes specific materials and supplies; methods, uniform standards, specifications and procedures for operations; procedures for management control; training and assistance; and merchandising, advertising and promotional programs, all of which may be changed, improved and further developed (the "System"). The System is identified by certain trade names, service marks, trademarks, logos, emblems and indicia of origin, including the mark Canine Dimensions® , as is now designated and together with such other Marks as may in the future be designated by us in writing for use with the System (the "Marks").

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Canine Dimensions's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Marks' are the trade names, service marks, trademarks, logos, emblems, and indicia of origin that identify the Canine Dimensions system. The primary mark is "Canine Dimensions®," along with any other marks that Canine Dimensions may designate in writing for use with the System in the future.
As a franchisee, you are required to use only the Marks designated by Canine Dimensions and only in the manner they authorize. This use is restricted to operating the franchised business or in its advertising. Canine Dimensions retains the right to approve all materials using the Marks, including signs, memos, stationery, and advertising. Franchisees must operate and advertise the business solely under the name "Canine Dimensions" unless otherwise authorized.
Franchisees must identify themselves as the owners of the franchised business when using the Marks on business documents. Upon termination or expiration of the franchise agreement, franchisees must immediately cease using the Marks and take actions to remove any association with the Canine Dimensions system, including canceling any assumed name registrations containing the "Canine Dimensions" mark. Unauthorized use of the Marks is considered infringement, and franchisees must notify Canine Dimensions of any litigation involving the Marks and cooperate in its defense.
