What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Canine Dimensions's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Canine Dimensions can terminate the Franchise Agreement with notice to the franchisee if the franchisee breaches a material provision of the Franchise Agreement. Depending on the nature of the breach, this notice may or may not include a cure period.

For certain curable defaults, Canine Dimensions will provide 30 days' notice to cure. These curable defaults include failure to pay amounts due to Canine Dimensions, failure to submit required financial information, failure to meet local advertising expenditure requirements, failure to obtain prior written approval when required, and violation of the Franchise Agreement concerning the use and protection of the Marks or Confidential Information.

However, certain defaults are considered non-curable, and Canine Dimensions can terminate the agreement without providing an opportunity to cure. These non-curable defaults include failure to open, abandoning the franchised business, conviction of certain crimes, threatening public health or safety, unapproved transfer, failure to comply with in-term covenants, failure to satisfactorily complete the training program, disclosure of confidential information, repeated defaults, and bankruptcy.
