Upgrades to your computer software may be required periodically. You can obtain the computer system from any supplier, so long as it meets our specifications. You may (but are not required to) enter into a hardware maintenance contract with a company of your choosing, so long as you follow our procedures for approval of such outside
supplier. We are not an approved supplier or the only approved supplier of the hardware maintenance contract.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Canine Dimensions's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are not required to enter into a hardware maintenance contract for their computer system. While franchisees can obtain the computer system from any supplier that meets Canine Dimensions's specifications, they have the option, but are not obligated, to enter into a hardware maintenance contract with a company of their choosing. However, franchisees must follow Canine Dimensions's procedures for approval of any outside supplier for such a contract.
This flexibility allows franchisees to choose a maintenance plan that best fits their needs and budget. Canine Dimensions does not act as an approved supplier or the only approved supplier for these hardware maintenance contracts, giving franchisees the freedom to select a provider.
Prospective franchisees should note that while a hardware maintenance contract is not mandatory, maintaining a functional computer system is essential for operating the Canine Dimensions franchise. The computer is used for presentations, tracking appointments and sales, billing, and reporting. Therefore, franchisees should carefully consider their options for ensuring the computer system remains operational, whether through a maintenance contract or other means.
