.
You may provide services only to customers and prospective customers who live in your Protected Territory. You may not engage in any promotional activities or sell any products or services, directly or indirectly, through or on the Internet, the World Wide Web, or any other alternative distribution channels (collectively, "Alternative Distribution Channels") directed sent or directed to customers or prospective customers located outside of your Protected Territory. While you may place advertisements in printed media and on television and radio that are targeted to customers and prospective customers located within your Protected Territory, you will not be in violation of the Franchise Agreement if those advertisements, because of the natural circulation of the printed media or reach of television and radio, are viewed by prospective customers
outside of your Protected Territory. You have no options, rights of first refusal, or similar rights to acquire additional franchises.
If we engage in electronic commerce through any Internet, World Wide Web or other computer network site or sell through any other alternative distribution channel, and we receive orders for any products offered by a Franchised Business calling for delivery or performance in your Protected Territory, then we will offer the order to you at the price we establish. If you choose not to fulfill the order or are unable to do so, then we, one of our affiliates or a third party we designate (including another franchisee) may fulfill the order, and you will not be entitled to any compensation in connection with this. Otherwise, you may not use Alternative Distribution Channels to make sales outside or inside your Protected Territory, and you will not receive any compensation for our sales through alternative distribution channels.
Although we and our affiliates have the right to do so (as described above), neither we nor our affiliates have operated or franchised, and have no plans to operate or franchise, other businesses selling or leasing similar products or services under different trademarks. If we or our affiliates purchase, merge, acquire, are acquired by or affiliate with an existing competitive franchise network, chain or any other business, then we or our affiliates will have the right to operate, franchise or license those businesses and/or facilities under marks different than the Marks in your Protected Territory.
ITEM 13 TRADEMARKS
Under the Franchise Agreement, we grant you the nonexclusive right to use our Marks in connection with the operation of your Franchised Business. You may also use our other current or future trademarks to operate the Franchised Business. The following marks are registered on the Principal Register of the U.S.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Canine Dimensions's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is restricted to offering services to customers within their designated Protected Territory. This territory is defined as encompassing approximately 150,000 households, delineated by zip codes or geographical boundaries such as streets, towns, or counties. Franchisees are explicitly prohibited from engaging in promotional activities or selling products and services through the internet or other alternative distribution channels to customers located outside of their Protected Territory.
While franchisees can advertise in printed media, television, and radio, they must target customers within their Protected Territory. However, Canine Dimensions acknowledges that these advertisements may inadvertently reach prospective customers outside the territory due to the natural circulation or reach of these media. Such incidental exposure does not constitute a violation of the Franchise Agreement.
Canine Dimensions retains the right to engage in electronic commerce and fulfill orders from outside a franchisee's Protected Territory. If Canine Dimensions receives orders for products within a franchisee's territory, the franchisee will be offered the opportunity to fulfill the order at the established price. If the franchisee declines or is unable to fulfill the order, Canine Dimensions, its affiliates, or another franchisee may fulfill the order without compensating the original franchisee. Franchisees are not allowed to use alternative distribution channels to make sales either inside or outside their protected territory and will not receive compensation for sales made by Canine Dimensions through these channels.
The franchisee's approved location, which must be their home, must be within the Protected Territory. While relocation is permitted with Canine Dimensions's consent, the new location must also be within the Protected Territory. If a franchisee moves their home outside the Protected Territory, Canine Dimensions may require them to maintain a rented space within the territory from which to operate the franchised business. Relocating the franchised business does not change the territorial boundaries.
