What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Canine Dimensions's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to adhere to specific guidelines regarding equipment and inventory. Canine Dimensions will advise franchisees on the necessary equipment and inventory and provide a list of authorized suppliers for items not directly provided by them. Prior to commencing operations, franchisees must order and pay for an initial inventory of authorized products from Canine Dimensions at the then-current prices.
Beyond the mandatory initial inventory, Canine Dimensions does not offer further assistance with equipment, signs, fixtures, opening inventory, or supplies. Franchisees are also required to purchase a laptop computer, with Canine Dimensions's approval of the configuration, for presentations, tracking appointments and sales, billing, and reporting. The estimated cost for the required computer hardware and software ranges from $800 to $1,500.
Canine Dimensions also requires franchisees to have a high-speed internet connection and provides one dedicated email address for the franchise. The franchisor retains unlimited access to the franchisee's internet listings and computerized point of sale or customer relations management systems, with any information obtained becoming the property of Canine Dimensions. During the franchise term, franchisees may be required to upgrade or purchase additional computer hardware and software. If Canine Dimensions implements a uniform Customer Relations Management (CRM) solution, it will be provided to franchisees free of charge, and its use will be mandatory. While Canine Dimensions has not previously mandated specific maintenance, updates, or upgrades, they reserve the right to do so in the future, estimating potential costs of approximately $1,500 per year.
