Canine_Dimensions Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
Franchisee will ensure that each of Franchisee's employees or independent contractors who will come into contact with client animals, or will be entering client homes, also passes a criminal background check before such employee is permitted access to client animals or client homes.
During the Term, Franchisor has the right (at any time and at Franchisor's discretion) to require Franchisee and its owners to submit to a new, updated criminal background check.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Canine Dimensions's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must ensure that all employees or independent contractors who will come into contact with client animals or enter client homes pass a criminal background check before being allowed such access. This requirement is in place to protect client animals and property.
This means that as a Canine Dimensions franchisee, you are responsible for conducting or arranging criminal background checks for your staff. This likely involves costs for the background checks themselves and administrative time to manage the process. Failing to comply with this requirement could result in breaches of the franchise agreement.
Additionally, Canine Dimensions retains the right to require franchisees and their owners to submit to new, updated criminal background checks at any time during the term of the franchise agreement. This allows Canine Dimensions to maintain safety standards and address any potential concerns that may arise during the franchise term.
