What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Canine Dimensions' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is required to purchase the initial inventory from Canine Dimensions Franchising, LLC. Specifically, prior to commencing operations, the franchisee must order and pay for an initial inventory of authorized products from Canine Dimensions at their then-current prices. Upon receipt of payment, Canine Dimensions will then send the initial inventory to the franchisee.
This requirement ensures that all Canine Dimensions franchisees start with a standardized set of products approved by the franchisor. This helps maintain brand consistency and quality control across all franchise locations.
Beyond the mandatory initial inventory, Canine Dimensions does not provide any further assistance regarding equipment, signs, fixtures, opening inventory, or supplies. The FDD also mentions that Canine Dimensions will advise franchisees with respect to the required equipment and inventory and provide a list of authorized suppliers for any equipment or inventory not provided by them.
