Where is a Canine Dimensions franchisee authorized to operate the franchised business?

each party to the other party in this Agreement, the parties agree as follows:
1. GRANT
1.1 Franchised Business
Franchisor grants to Franchisee, upon the terms and conditions herein contained, the right, license, and privilege, and Franchisee undertakes the obligation, to operate a Canine Dimensions franchise (the "Franchise" or "Franchised Business") and to use solely in connection with it the Marks, the Authorized Products and Services, and the System, as they may be changed, improved, and further developed from time to time, only from the Approved Location.
1.2 Approved Location
The street address of Franchisee's approved location is written on Schedule A to this Agreement (the "Approved Location"), which is Franchisee's home. Franchisee shall not relocate the Franchised Business without the express prior written consent of Franchisor.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Canine Dimensions' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is authorized to operate the franchised business from the Approved Location, which is the franchisee's home, as specified in Schedule A of the Franchise Agreement. The franchisee is granted the right, license, and privilege to operate a Canine Dimensions franchise, using the Marks, Authorized Products and Services, and the System, but only from this Approved Location.
The franchisee is not allowed to relocate the Franchised Business without obtaining prior written consent from Canine Dimensions. If a franchisee wishes to move their home outside of their Protected Territory, Canine Dimensions may require the franchisee to rent space within the Protected Territory to operate the Franchised Business from.
This means that a prospective Canine Dimensions franchisee's home address will be the official base of operations for the franchise. However, the franchisee may need to secure a separate commercial space within their protected territory if they move their residence outside of that territory and Canine Dimensions requires it. This condition gives Canine Dimensions some control over where the business is conducted, even though it's home-based, and ensures the business remains within the defined market area.
