What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Canine Dimensions's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees do not have the freedom to choose any credit card vendor they prefer. The term "Credit Card Vendors" includes companies that provide services for electronic payment, such as near field communication vendors like "Apple Pay" and "Google Wallet."
The agreement states that a Canine Dimensions franchisee cannot use any credit card vendor without prior written approval from Canine Dimensions. Furthermore, Canine Dimensions retains the right to modify these requirements, designate approved or required methods of payment and vendors, and even revoke prior approval of any service provider.
This means that franchisees must stay updated on the approved vendors list provided by Canine Dimensions and acquire any necessary hardware or software at their own expense to comply with the approved payment systems. This policy ensures that Canine Dimensions can maintain consistency and control over payment processing within its franchise system.
