Does the Canine Dimensions FDD specify the method for delivering the cancellation notice?

According to Canine Dimensions' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee can cancel the transaction within a specific timeframe. To cancel, the franchisee can mail or deliver a signed and dated copy of the cancellation notice, any other written notice, or send a telegram to Phil Guida at 23208 Sanabria Loop, Bonita Springs, Florida 34135. The franchisee can also call (888) 281-3647 or send an email to phil@caninedimensions.com. The notice must be sent before midnight of the third business day after the effective date.

If the franchisee cancels, any property traded in, payments made under the contract, and negotiable instruments will be returned within ten business days following the seller's receipt of the cancellation notice. Any security interest arising from the transaction will also be canceled. The franchisee must make available any goods delivered under the contract in substantially as good condition as when received at their residence or business address. Alternatively, the franchisee may comply with the seller's instructions regarding the return shipment of the goods at the seller's expense and risk.

If the franchisee makes the goods available, and the seller does not pick them up within twenty days of the date of the cancellation notice, the franchisee may retain or dispose of the goods without further obligation. The FDD also includes a notice of cancellation form for the purchaser to use, which states that the purchaser may cancel the transaction at any time prior to midnight of the fifth business day after signing the agreement.
