Answer from 2025 FDD Document

If you request additional training on-site, or if we determine that you would benefit from additional on-site training, you must pay our then-current per diem rate per trainer, and reimburse our trainer's costs for providing the onsite training, including travel, lodging and meals. Currently, our per-diem daily trainer rate is $350 per trainer.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Canine Dimensions' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee requests or Canine Dimensions determines that a franchisee would benefit from additional on-site training, the franchisee must cover certain costs. In addition to the per diem rate of $350 per trainer, the franchisee is responsible for reimbursing the trainer's costs. These reimbursable costs specifically include travel, lodging, and meals incurred by the Canine Dimensions trainer while providing the on-site training.

This means that a Canine Dimensions franchisee needing extra in-person support will face expenses beyond just the daily training fee. They should budget for transportation costs (flights, mileage), accommodation expenses, and the cost of meals for each trainer sent to their location. These additional costs can vary significantly depending on the distance the trainer must travel, the duration of the training, and local lodging rates.

Prospective franchisees should consider these potential expenses when evaluating the overall cost of investing in a Canine Dimensions franchise. It would be prudent to discuss with Canine Dimensions under what circumstances additional on-site training is typically required and to get an estimate of potential travel, lodging, and meal costs from the franchisor to better prepare for such a scenario.
