What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Camp Margaritaville Franchise Disclosure Document, the Amenities Rider to the Camp Margaritaville Franchise Agreement is applicable when a franchisee seeks to operate specific amenities at their resort using Camp Margaritaville's intellectual property. These amenities can include a water park, family entertainment center, or marina, but are not limited to these examples. The rider serves as an agreement between Margaritaville RV Resorts, LLC, as the franchisor, and the franchisee, outlining the terms and conditions for operating these amenities.

The Amenities Rider grants the franchisee a license to use Camp Margaritaville's intellectual property to operate the specified amenities solely in connection with the resort. This license is non-exclusive, as stated in section 3 of the agreement. The rider also defines key terms such as "Amenities," "Amenities Intellectual Property," "Amenities Standards," and "Amenities System," which are all integrated into the broader Camp Margaritaville System.

For a prospective Camp Margaritaville franchisee, this means that if they plan to include additional attractions like a water park or entertainment center at their location, they will need to enter into an Amenities Rider agreement with the franchisor. This ensures that the use of Camp Margaritaville's branding and operational standards are properly licensed and maintained across all aspects of the resort. The franchisee should carefully review the terms of the rider to understand their obligations and the franchisor's expectations for operating these amenities.
