Camp_Margaritaville Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
With our approval in our sole discretion you may authorize any Travel Services Website to list and promote the Resort together with other hotels. A "Travel Services Website" is a website that a third party (which is not your affiliate) operates that promotes and sells travel-related products and services for a number of hotel brands, including other Margaritaville-affiliated hotels. You must submit to us for our approval all proposed uses of the Camp Margaritaville Intellectual Property, references to the Resort, links to a Camp Margaritaville System Website, and other information concerning a Travel Services Website. We will not unreasonably withhold our approval of your use of a Travel Services Website. We may implement and periodically modify, and you must comply with, System Standards relating to any Travel Services Websites and other electronic uses of the Camp Margaritaville Intellectual Property, and may withdraw our approval of any website, other online presence or other electronic medium that no longer meets our System Standards. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Camp Margaritaville's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a Travel Services Website is defined as a website operated by a third party (not affiliated with the franchisee) that promotes and sells travel-related products and services for multiple hotel brands, including hotels affiliated with Margaritaville.
For a Camp Margaritaville franchisee, this means that they may, with the franchisor's approval, have their resort listed on these third-party travel websites. However, any use of Camp Margaritaville's intellectual property, references to the resort, or links to the Camp Margaritaville System Website on these Travel Services Websites must be submitted to the franchisor for approval. Camp Margaritaville states that it will not unreasonably withhold approval for the franchisee's use of a Travel Services Website.
Camp Margaritaville retains the right to implement and modify System Standards related to Travel Services Websites and other electronic uses of its intellectual property. The franchisor can also withdraw approval of any website or online presence that no longer meets these standards. This ensures that all marketing and advertising efforts align with the brand's overall strategy and quality standards.
