- 2.9 "Retail Stores" shall mean one or more retail stores within the Resort (whether adjacent to a Restaurant or separately located), from which Franchisee sells Merchandise and operated in accordance with the standards currently used at the retail stores located in Hollywood, Florida or such other location as Franchisor may designate;
- 2.10 "Retail Standards" shall mean those procedures, standards, specifications, controls, systems, manuals, guides, inventory, POS systems and other distinguishing elements or characteristics which Franchisor and its Affiliates have developed in connection with the operation of themed and branded retail stores, which standards are such that the Retail Stores shall be managed and operated in such a manner as required to provide high quality products and services of substantially the same quality and distinguishing characteristics as are provided at the same or similarly branded retail stores licensed by Franchisor (or its Affiliates); the Retail Standards shall be deemed part of the System Standards for all purposes of the Agreement.

According to Camp Margaritaville's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Retail Standards are based on the standards currently used at the retail stores located in Hollywood, Florida, or such other location as Camp Margaritaville may designate. These standards include procedures, specifications, controls, systems, manuals, guides, inventory, POS systems, and other elements that Camp Margaritaville and its affiliates have developed for themed and branded retail store operations.
Camp Margaritaville mandates that Retail Stores must be managed and operated to provide high-quality products and services. These offerings should have substantially the same quality and distinguishing characteristics as those provided at other similarly branded retail stores licensed by Camp Margaritaville or its affiliates. The Retail Standards are considered part of the System Standards for all purposes of the Franchise Agreement.
Prospective franchisees should note that Camp Margaritaville retains the right to modify the System Standards for any Camp Margaritaville Resort based on conditions or factors it deems important for the resort's successful operation. However, franchisees do not have the right to demand similar variations or accommodations.
