What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Camp Margaritaville's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees converting an existing RV park to a Camp Margaritaville Resort must meet specific requirements. These include renovating the resort according to an adaptive reuse Property Improvement Plan (PIP) agreed upon with Camp Margaritaville, which is attached as Exhibit C-1. The design plans for the renovation must also comply with this PIP. This ensures that the converted resort aligns with Camp Margaritaville's brand standards and aesthetic.
Additionally, if the existing RV park has a technology system, the franchisee is required to update these systems in accordance with a Technology Improvement Plan (TIP) prepared by Camp Margaritaville, which is attached as Exhibit C-2. This ensures that the technology infrastructure of the converted resort meets Camp Margaritaville's standards.
These requirements are put in place to ensure brand consistency and a uniform experience for customers across all Camp Margaritaville locations, whether they are newly constructed or conversions of existing RV parks. Prospective franchisees should carefully review Exhibits C-1 and C-2 to fully understand the scope and costs associated with these required renovations and technology upgrades.
