What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Camp Margaritaville's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Margaritaville's reservation responsibilities are contingent upon the customer fulfilling certain prerequisites and responsibilities. These obligations primarily relate to maintaining accurate property information, honoring confirmed reservations, and participating in the Brand Affinity and Perks Program.
Specifically, Camp Margaritaville franchisees must keep all property information current, up-to-date, and accurate in all databases. This includes providing full, accurate, and timely resort information to Margaritaville to ensure the property is accurately represented and bookable by the call center. Franchisees must also load rates for at least twelve months into the future, ensuring that the call center has sufficient rate information available.
Furthermore, franchisees are obligated to honor confirmed reservations made through the CR System at the agreed-upon rate, terms, and period of stay. If a franchisee cannot provide accommodations due to overbooking or other reasons, they are responsible for securing comparable accommodations and covering any reasonable expenses incurred by the guest. Franchisees are also responsible for the successful execution and delivery of the Brand Affinity and Perks Program, including offering the minimum perks specified in the manual and prioritizing accommodations for program members. Failure to meet these obligations may result in financial responsibility for remediation costs and potential restrictions on distribution channels.
