What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Camp Margaritaville's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must use the day pass booking system provided by RealTime Reservations (RTR). This system allows non-resort guests to book passes to access the resort's leisure facilities for the day. To participate in this RTR booking system, franchisees must agree to the Day Pass Program Terms of Use, which are incorporated by reference into the Technology Agreement attached as Exhibit E of the Franchise Agreement.
The one-time onboarding and implementation cost for the RTR booking system is $300. This fee is paid to Camp Margaritaville as pass-through fees to RTR and is non-refundable.
This means that as part of the initial investment, a new Camp Margaritaville franchisee needs to budget $300 for the RTR day pass booking system. This fee covers the initial setup and onboarding required to integrate with the RealTime Reservations system. Since the fee is non-refundable, it's a sunk cost regardless of the performance or adoption of the day pass program at the resort.
