You must purchase the insurance coverage that we require from time to time as described in more detail in the Franchise Agreement and the Manual from insurance companies that meet our minimum standards. We also specify the minimum amounts of insurance coverage that you must maintain. All insurance policies must name us and others we designate as additional insureds. You must provide us with evidence of your insurance coverage. You must purchase these policies from carriers who are qualified to do business in the jurisdiction in which your Resort is located and that have a Best rating of at least A. We must approve all insurance companies that you use.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Camp Margaritaville's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must purchase required insurance coverage from companies that have a Best rating of at least A. These insurance companies must also be qualified to do business in the jurisdiction where the Camp Margaritaville Resort is located.
Camp Margaritaville also specifies the minimum amounts of insurance coverage franchisees must maintain and requires that all insurance policies name Camp Margaritaville and other designated parties as additional insureds. Franchisees are responsible for providing evidence of their insurance coverage to Camp Margaritaville.
This requirement ensures that Camp Margaritaville franchisees have adequate insurance coverage from reputable providers, protecting both the franchisee and the franchisor from potential liabilities and financial losses. It is a fairly standard practice in franchising to ensure brand-wide risk management and compliance.
