What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Camp Margaritaville's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Gross Revenue does include revenue from Amenities. Specifically, Gross Revenue is defined as all revenue, income, and proceeds derived from the operation and management of the Resort. This definition explicitly includes revenue from any Amenities.
For a Camp Margaritaville franchisee, this means that all revenue generated from amenities offered at the resort, such as pools, recreational facilities, or any other services, contributes to the Gross Revenue figure. This figure is then used to calculate royalty fees and other payments due to the franchisor.
Additionally, the FDD specifies an "Amenities Royalty" of 5% of Gross Revenue, payable within 30 days following the end of each calendar month. This royalty applies only if Camp Margaritaville provides approval for the Amenities and the franchisee signs an Amenities Rider. The FDD also clarifies that all sales and money gained from any services provided from the Amenities shall be included in the calculation of Gross Revenue.
