  • (j) immediately ceasing acceptance of and participation in any Pre-Sales, including gift cards or certificates and the like, coupons, or the Loyalty Programs associated with the Camp Margaritaville System;

  • (k) canceling all assumed name or equivalent registrations using or incorporating the Camp Margaritaville Intellectual Property; and,

According to the 2025 Camp Margaritaville Franchise Disclosure Document, upon termination or expiration of the franchise agreement, the franchisee is required to close accounts with any suppliers or vendors that were opened in connection with the operation of the resort under the Camp Margaritaville intellectual property. If the franchisee fails to do so, Camp Margaritaville has the right to close these accounts on the franchisee's behalf.

In addition to closing supplier accounts, the franchisee must also cease using Camp Margaritaville's related social media and online business directories. The franchisee is obligated to stop operating all social media pages and online business directory listings associated with the resort, and must provide Camp Margaritaville with all login credentials necessary for Camp Margaritaville to assume control over these accounts. The franchisee must also notify any applicable entities of the termination or expiration of their right to use any numbers, addresses, domain names, locators, directories, and listings associated with Camp Margaritaville.

Furthermore, the franchisee is obligated to cease acceptance of and participation in any pre-sales, including gift cards or certificates, coupons, or loyalty programs associated with the Camp Margaritaville system. The franchisee must also cancel all assumed name or equivalent registrations using or incorporating the Camp Margaritaville intellectual property. The FDD also states that the franchisee shall pay Camp Margaritaville a $10,000 fee in consideration of Camp Margaritaville's oversight and approval of the de-branding actions.
