What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Camp Margaritaville's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees may be required to participate in food safety and sanitation audits. These audits can be conducted on a quarterly basis by Camp Margaritaville or its designated agent.
The franchisee is responsible for covering the expenses associated with these food safety and sanitation audits. These audits may be conducted in addition to, or as part of, a Quality Assurance Audit.
Camp Margaritaville also implements other quality control measures, including guest comment cards, staff surveys, secret shopper reports, and monitoring online reputation. The brand sets the standards for passing these quality measures, communicating them in writing as part of the System Standards.
Failure to meet the required standards in these audits or other quality assurance measures may lead to additional Quality Assurance Audits, for which the franchisee will be charged a $5,000 fee for each re-audit until compliance is achieved. The franchisor retains the right to modify this fee.
